On the contentious side we have acted for insureds in court, alternative dispute resolution, and professional disciplinary tribunals under a wide range of policies (including professional indemnity, D&O, product liability, and material damage / business interruption). Our dispute resolution team has extensive experience undertaking recovery work. We assist insurers, trade credit brokers and their insureds in debt recovery matters.
On the non-contentious side our corporate commercial and finance teams regularly assist with governance and compliance matters, preparing policies and product liability disclaimers, and transactional matters.

Prior to Stace Hammond, dispute resolution partner, James Cochrane, worked at a top ranked boutique insurance litigation firm specialising in director liability and professional liability claims. While there he was seconded to an insurance underwriting agency as a complex claims handler for financial lines claims.
