I have an international viewpoint of legal practice, having a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from China University of Political Science and Law and a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am in the process of being admitted as a U.S. attorney (New York State) and as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in New Zealand.
My experience in overseas corporations includes working as a paralegal for a Fortune 500 company in Beijing, where I was involved in corporate compliance work, mergers, civil litigation, labour and contract disputes, and company set up and bankruptcy procedures. I was in charge of liaising a China-based legal team framework to a legal team in America, Mexico and Canada.
My experience in New Zealand has began at Stace Hammond in 2018, where I have been able to bring my broad experience to a unique focus for the company’s clients, particularly in the immigration and commercial arena.
I work predominantly in the following practice areas:
• Immigration, including very culturally sensitive client requirements
